Timothy Herpin

Timothy Herpin has an extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Timothy is currently the Chief Business Officer at Santa Ana Bio, a position they have held since July 2023. Before joining Santa Ana Bio, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as the Vice President of Business Development for Infectious Diseases and Vaccines from February 2020 to July 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief Business Officer at Caribou Biosciences from May 2018 to February 2020.

From 2011 to 2018, Timothy had various roles at AstraZeneca including Vice-President and Head of Transactions, Business Development, Vice-President of Strategic Partnering and Business Development for Oncology and STL, and Vice-President of Strategic Partnering and Business Development for CNS and Pain. Timothy started their career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2000 as a Sr. Research Investigator and held positions such as Director of Business Development, Head of US Search in the Strategic Transactions Group, and Director of External Science, Technology, and Licensing. Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, they worked at aventis as a Sr Research Scientist and at Pharmacopeia, Inc as a Research Scientist.

Timothy Herpin has an extensive education history. Timothy first attended École Polytechnique from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Chemistry. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1995, they pursued their Ph.D. in Chemistry at UCL. Later, they enrolled in NYU Stern School of Business from 2001 to 2004 and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Management.
