Carlos Fernandez Ibañez

Carlos Fernandez Ibañez is a seasoned professional in the insurance and consulting sectors, currently serving as Director General de Transformación, Innovación y Gobierno del Dato at Santalucía Seguros since September 2022. In this role, Carlos oversees the group's global transformation initiatives and innovation strategies while managing data governance and integrating artificial intelligence into the organization's operations. Previously, Carlos held various leadership positions at Accenture, such as Insurance Managing Director and Insurance Practice Lead for Spain, Portugal, and Israel, where expertise in digital transformation, distribution, and marketing was demonstrated. As a co-founder of CIBG - Consejo de Innovación y Buen Gobierno and a member of the Board of Advisors for Insurtech Community Hub, Carlos continues to influence the insurance landscape while employing an extensive educational background that includes degrees from Esade and Universitat Politècnica de València.
