Shawn Bartlett has extensive experience in commercial underwriting and portfolio management at Santam Insurance, having held various managerial roles since joining the company in 2004. Currently serving as Manager of Commercial Underwriting Governance, Shawn facilitates collaboration between Head Office and regional market intelligence to drive policy growth and enhance profitability. Previous positions include Manager of the Commercial Portfolio Management Centre of Expertise and Underwriting Operations Manager, focusing on risk management processes and compliance. Shawn also has a background in relationship management as a Portfolio Manager and has conducted quality assurance audits. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Lincoln and a Senior Management Certificate from the University of Stellenbosch.
