Cary Waelter

Cary Waelter is an accomplished executive in the commercial real estate sector, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Santander Bank, N.A. since December 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the bank's commercial real estate and term lending business. Previously, Cary held senior positions at Astoria Federal Savings as Executive Director of Santander Real Estate Capital, and served as First Vice President focused on portfolio management and loan workout. Additional experience includes leading a commercial real estate advisory firm, managing national commercial real estate lending at Sovereign Bank, and various roles at Morgan Stanley and Chase Manhattan Bank, showcasing a strong background in real estate appraisal and loan origination.
