Cesar Ibares Ortega

Cesar Ibares Ortega has a strong background in market risk management, with experience working at various branches of Banco Santander. In their current role at Santander US, Cesar serves as the Market Risk Trading Director, overseeing risk management for the trading and banking books. Prior to this, Cesar held roles at Banco Santander Mexico, Santander Brasil, and Banco Santander, where Cesar focused on balance sheet and structural risk management. Cesar holds an MBA in Options and Futures from IEB and a BA/MA in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
