Matthew Distefano

Matthew DiStefano is a Fraud Risk Analyst at Santander US, where involvement includes supporting fraud risk management, conducting research on potential risks, and maintaining reporting documents. Previously, as a Risk Intern, Matthew analyzed Zelle fraud claims, identified fraud patterns, and assisted in the rollout of an ID authentication tool. Additional experience includes serving as a Peer Tutor and Peer Mentor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and interning in the Government Contracts department at Granite Telecommunications. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a secondary major in Economics from the Isenberg School of Management and Commonwealth Honors College at UMass Amherst.
