Nicole Doherty

Nicole (Palumbo) Doherty is an accomplished professional in risk management with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Director of Risk Management at Santander US since November 2018, Nicole has progressed through various roles, including Associate Director and Senior Associate. Prior to this, Nicole worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as Lead Business Risk & Fraud Analyst, where responsibilities included drafting Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act policies and acting as a subject matter expert. Nicole began their career at the Massachusetts Division of Banks, first as an Enforcement Attorney and later as a Bank Examiner specializing in mortgage brokers and lenders. Nicole holds a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University.
