Richard Osborne

Richard Osborne is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in health literacy, currently serving as an NHMRC Investigator Fellow at Swinburne University of Technology. With extensive experience, Richard leads initiatives focused on improving health literacy among underserved populations and training programs for mental health responsiveness in collaboration with multiple universities. As a consultant for the World Health Organization, Richard has developed health literacy resources for low- and middle-income countries and has held prestigious academic positions, including Affiliate Professor of Health Literacy at Københavns Universitet and Professor (Hon) at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Richard's educational background includes a PhD in Cancer/Social Epidemiology from RMIT University and a BSc in Biology from the University of Melbourne.
