Josh Widener

Josh Widener serves as the President of the Board for Dorchester Paws, leading a $10 million capital campaign to construct a new 30,000 square foot facility. In a previous role as Vice President, Josh was instrumental in strategic planning and governance for Dorchester County's only open-admission animal shelter. Currently, as a System Communications Engineer II and Project Manager at Santee Cooper, responsibilities include overseeing capital improvement projects and ensuring regulatory compliance. Josh's background includes experience in various engineering roles, project management, and ownership of businesses, complemented by a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel.
