Ria Goodwin

Ria Goodwin is an experienced school counselor with a strong background in educational guidance and student support services. Currently serving as a School Counselor and Activities Coordinator at Portland Public Schools since August 2010, Ria has expertise in individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, and facilitating student-led organizations. Previously, Ria worked as a Guidance Counselor for Santiam Canyon School District, where responsibilities included presenting information on college choices and creating master schedules for students. Ria's experience also includes a role as an Enumerator for the US Census Bureau. Prior to this, Ria held a Guidance Counselor position at Oxford Hills School District, providing vocational guidance and facilitating lessons on career development and personal growth. Ria holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington.
