Patricia Gutierrez Aparicio

Patricia Gutierrez Aparicio has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Patricia started their career at PRISA in 1996, working in the Accounting & Human Resources Department for about eight months. Patricia then moved to the Management Control Department at PRISA TV, DTS, and Sogecable, where they worked for two years. In 1999, they returned to PRISA and joined the Corporate Finance Division, initially serving as the Head of the Management Control Department, where they were responsible for the Consolidated Budget of PRISA Group and Business Units. Patricia also played a key role in preparing financial reports for the Board of Directors and senior management. In 2001, they became the Head of the Consolidation Department, overseeing the preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements according to IFRS and managing the Group's cash flow. From 2007 to 2015, Patricia served as the Head of the Administration and Finance Department, leading a team of ten members and being responsible for various finance, accounting, and reporting functions at the PRISA holding company. In 2018, they worked as a Docent at the Asian Civilisations Museum before joining Nexo Corporate Services in 2019 as the Head of Finance & Advisory Services. Since November 2020, Patricia has been working at Santillana as the head of administration and treasury for the controlling division.

Patricia Gutierrez Aparicio's education history includes several degrees and certifications. Patricia obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, from 1992 to 1997. In 2001, they completed the Executive Development Programme at IESE Business School.

In 2014, Patricia attended Escuela de Organización Industrial and completed the Advanced Digital Skills Programme, focusing on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.

From 2017 to 2018, they pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration at Singapore Management University. During this time, they also participated in additional educational programs. In 2017, they attended the Indian School of Business for courses in International Business, specifically Inside India and Network and Alliance Building. Patricia also studied Corporate Strategy in a Global Environment and Supply Chain Management at The Wharton School in the same year.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Patricia attended various programs in 2018. Patricia completed the Docent Training Programme in Asian Studies/Civilization at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) in Singapore. Additionally, they studied China's contemporary issues in Asian business and business innovation/disruptive strategy at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University.

As for certifications, Patricia obtained several. In 2019, they completed the course "Cubism in Modern Culture" offered by Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía & Fundación Telefónica. In 2020, they obtained certifications in "Velázquez in Prado Museum" and "Jheronimus Bosch in Prado Museum" from Museo Nacional del Prado. Patricia also completed the course "What is Contemporary Art?" offered by The Museum of Modern Art/Coursera in 2020.
