Senior Staff Geologist - Unconventional at Santos

Brendan O'Hara is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in unconventional and conventional resource development, currently serving as a Senior Staff Geologist at Santos Ltd since August 2014. O'Hara's expertise includes reservoir characterization of the Mesoproterozoic Velkerri Formation in the McArthur Basin and leadership roles in various projects involving unconventional shale gas and conventional tight gas developments. Prior roles include team lead for gas resource development at Husky Energy, focused on deep basin gas assets and thermal enhanced oil recovery, as well as significant contributions to the BlackGold Oilsands Project at Harvest Operations Corp. Brendan O'Hara's career also includes positions as a Senior Geologist collaborating on thermal assets, a wellsite geologist at Hopewell Petroleum Consulting, and experience as a Gyro Directional Surveyor at Gyrodata. O'Hara holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Geology from Queen's University Belfast.
