Briony McNeil

Briony McNeil serves as the General Manager of People & Culture at Santos Ltd, overseeing the Eastern Australia and PNG business unit since July 2019. With a robust background in human resources, Briony previously held roles such as People Manager Onshore at Santos, Principal Adviser Human Resources at Rio Tinto, and Manager of Human Resources and Employee Relations at Macmahon. Briony’s experience spans various sectors, leading people strategies for significant projects and managing employee relations functions. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Queensland, a Masters in Applied Law from The University of Queensland, and a Graduate Certificate in Workplace Reform from QUT. Briony is also pursuing the GAICD credential from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
