Michael Sloan is an experienced Quantity Surveyor with extensive expertise in estimating and cost planning across various sectors, including drilling, education, and commercial projects. Currently serving as the Project Cost Control Lead at Santos Ltd, Michael focuses on cost control for PNG Drilling & Completions, managing CAPEX, ABEX, and OPEX. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Cost Engineer at Shell, overseeing the QCLNG project, as well as leadership positions in estimating and cost planning at McNab and Broomfield Construction. Michael began his career with a quantitative surveying placement at AECOM and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University.
