Noele Carvalho

Noele Carvalho is a Senior Staff Geologist at Santos Ltd since August 2022, with prior experience as a Senior Development Geologist in the Cooper Basin and a Senior Development Geologist at Repsol from 2015 to September 2017, focusing on clastic and carbonate gas reservoirs in Papua New Guinea. Previous roles include Exploration Geologist at Talisman Energy (2012-2015), Reservoir Geologist at Repsol (2010-2011), Geologist at ANP - Brazilian Petroleum National Agency (2008-2010), and Geologist at Schlumberger (2005-2008), where expertise in geomodelling was developed. Noele Carvalho holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology from COPPE/UFRJ (2009-2012), a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000-2005), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Geology at The University of Queensland since July 2021.
