Rory san Filippo

Rory San Filippo is a highly experienced exploration and development geologist with a strong background in geology, holding a Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oregon. Currently serving as a Senior Exploration Geologist at Oil Search Limited since February 2019, Rory has been instrumental in the Alaska Exploration, successfully leading the STIRRUP-1 wildcat discovery well and conducting significant geological modeling and hazard assessments. Prior experience includes key roles at BP spanning over a decade, where Rory contributed to the development of major oil fields, including planning enhanced oil recovery strategies for Kuwait Oil Company and leading reservoir characterization studies in Azerbaijan. Extensive expertise encompasses geological modeling, reservoir appraisal, and subsurface hazard analysis across various notable projects in the oil and gas industry.
