Sumakus Awai has extensive experience in instrumentation and process control, currently working at Santos Ltd since June 2020. Key responsibilities include performing calibrations, critical function tests, and maintenance of instruments in a vital processing facility. Prior roles include Operations Trainee Engineer at Goodman Fielder International and Trainee Maintenance Engineer at the Western Highlands Provincial Health Authority. Sumakus also served as an Electrical Technician at Highlander Hotel and as an Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor. Educational achievements include multiple diplomas in Instrumentation Engineering from the Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS and a degree in Applied Physics with Electronics and Instrumentation from PNG University of Technology.
