Virgilio Bonardi

Virgilio Bonardi is an experienced operations engineer with a substantial background in managing offshore facilities and gas export pipelines. Since April 2020, Virgilio has been with Santos Ltd, overseeing day-to-day operations at the Bayu-Undan Facilities while providing leadership in health, safety, and environmental matters, process safety, and production efficiency. Prior to this role, Virgilio served at ConocoPhillips in various capacities, including Operations Superintendent and Operations and Asset Integrity Lead for the Barossa project, developing maintenance strategies and ensuring operational integrity. Virgilio’s career started with significant roles at Total and Amec Foster Wheeler, contributing to multiple projects with a focus on engineering and technical authority.
