Ferdinand Baaij

Ferdinand Baaij is a seasoned professional in supply chain management and smart factory consulting, currently serving as a Solution Sales Executive at SAP since October 2025. Previous roles include Managing Consultant at TRUMPF and Product Owner for Smarty Factory & MES Solutions, with a key focus on smart factory initiatives. Ferdinand has also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the Georgia Institute of Technology and Fraunhofer IAO, alongside internships and trainee positions at Daimler AG and other institutions. Ferdinand holds dual Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Stuttgart, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management from the University of Stuttgart.
