Sebastian Labitzke

Sebastian Labitzke currently serves as the Head of IT Security and Business Information Security Officer (BISO) at SAP SE since September 2024, while also being actively involved as a Program Committee Member for escar, the leading automotive cybersecurity conference, since April 2018. Additionally, Sebastian is mentoring for Women4Cyber Germany from July 2024 to June 2025 and previously held the position of Business Lead Cyber Security at CarByte GmbH from October 2022 to August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Engineering at ITK Engineering from April 2014 to September 2022, where responsibilities encompassed information security management systems and engineering leadership. Sebastian holds a Dr.-Ing. in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a Dipl.-Inform. in Informatik from Universität Karlsruhe (TH).
