Sophia Leonora Mendelsohn

Sophia Leonora Mendelsohn serves as the Chief Sustainability and Commercial Officer at SAP since September 2023, with prior experience as Chief Sustainability Officer and Global Head of ESG at Cognizant and Chief Sustainability Officer at JetBlue Airways. An expert in sustainability and Environmental Social Governance (ESG), Sophia has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Harvard University, teaching graduate courses on ESG strategies. Notable positions include Head of Sustainability for Haworth across Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East, where Sophia led corporate responsibility initiatives for major global clients. Sophia holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies from Brandeis University, along with additional training in Mandarin and Business Chinese from Johns Hopkins and Nanjing University.
