Zoltán Albrecht

Program Member, Sovereign Cloud at SAP

Zoltán Albrecht is a Program Member of Sovereign Cloud at SAP. Zoltán has over 15 years of experience in software development and data science.

Zoltán started their career as a physicist at the Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe gGmbH, where they focused on using linear accelerators for external beam radiation treatments for cancer patients. Zoltán then joined CERN as a data scientist, where they were responsible for the analysis of excited B mesons. During their time at CERN, they developed modern statistical methods and created NeuroBayes, a predictive engine that forecasts the probability density of every event.

In July 2003, Albrecht joined SAP as a Development Architect for SAP Business Warehouse. Zoltán worked on analytics interfaces and helped SAP customers to make better use of their data. In July 2015, they left SAP to join Sovereign Cloud, where they are responsible for helping customers migrate to the cloud.

Zoltán Albrecht has a diploma in physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Zoltán also has certification from Coursera in Applied Machine Learning in Python, Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python, and Introduction to Data Science in Python. In addition, they have certification from Coursera in Functional Programming Principles in Scala and from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.

They work with Stefan Schulz - Development Executive, SAP Government Security Program, Julia Lakatos - Head of SAP Product Engineering Board Office, and Tim Gast - Internal Strategic Operations Expert, Office of Thomas Saueressig. Zoltán Albrecht reports to Thomas Saueressig, Executive Board Member, SAP Product Engineering.
