Laurence Wormald

Laurence Wormald is the Head of Applied Research at SAPIAT. Prior to joining SAPIAT, they were the Head of Research at FIS from December 2015 to November 2018. Laurence also held the position of Head of Research at SunGard APT from July 2008 to November 2015. Other previous positions include Risk Officer at Deutsche Bank and Risk Director at Statpro. Laurence Wormald has also been a consultant for the Bank of England and the European Central Bank.

Laurence Wormald undertook a PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz before completing an MA in Physics at the University of Cambridge.
