Rajesh Chandra Thakur

Rajesh Chandra Thakur has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2002. Rajesh Chandra began their career as a Systems Administrator at Elpro International Ltd (Webcommunities.com) in 2002. In 2003, they joined Sutra Systems India Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they acted as an on-site coordinator for custom applications. In 2004, they moved to BMC Software, where they held various roles, including Manager - IT, and was responsible for managing and operating a 24x7 Global Network Operations Center G-NOC. In 2017, they joined Shell as a Senior Service Manager, where they were responsible for defining the cloud adoption strategy and driving the migration of IT services from on-prem to Azure. In 2021, they joined Vertafore as a Senior Manager, SaaS Operations, where they were responsible for managing the hosting infrastructure and service transition from an external support partner to an inhouse support model. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Head of DevOps at Sapience Analytics.

Rajesh Chandra Thakur has a diverse education history. Rajesh Chandra obtained a Bachelor of Computer Applications (Hons) from Ranchi University between 1996 and 1999. Rajesh Chandra then earned a Diploma in Advance Computing DAC from Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) between 2001 and 2002. Most recently, they completed an Advanced Strategic Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications from DevOps Agile Skills Association (DASA) and ITIL Certified.
