Claudio Scuoppo

Claudio Scuoppo has extensive work experience in the scientific and medical research field. Claudio currently works as a Principal Scientist at Sapience Therapeutics, Inc., a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Columbia University Irving Medical Center for over a decade, starting as a Research Technician in August 2005 and subsequently progressing to roles such as Postdoctoral Research Scientist, Associate Research Scientist, and finally Instructor. Their tenure at Columbia University Irving Medical Center ended in May 2022. Before joining Columbia University, Claudio worked as a Doctoral Student at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from August 2006 to October 2011. Claudio Scuoppo has an extensive education background in the field of biotechnology and cancer biology. Claudio obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Torino in 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the same institution, completing it in 2005. Claudio then continued their academic journey at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cancer Biology from 2006 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Claudio obtained the "Python for Genomic Data Science" certification from Coursera in April 2020. Claudio also completed the "Introduction to Genomic Technologies" certification from the same institution in February 2020.
