Mark Koester

Lab Manager/Senior Research Associate at Sapience Therapeutics, Inc.

Mark Koester has diverse work experience in various fields. Mark started their career as an EMT/Lifeguard at the Borough of Spring Lake Beach Department in 2008 and remained in that role until 2014. During this time, they administered life-saving techniques and trained lifeguard personnel.

In 2011, Koester joined Best Buy as a Sales Associate and worked there until 2014.

In 2012, they served as a Resident Assistant at Richard Stockton College Residential Life, providing support to students.

Koester worked as a Research Assistant at Stockton University from 2013 to 2014. Mark conducted research on bacterial infections of Limulus polyphemus eggs and utilized various lab techniques.

From 2019 onwards, Koester started their own business, Lost Wave Goods, where they design, handcrafts, and sells handmade leather goods and apparel that focus on minimizing the environmental impact of the leather industry.

Mark Koester attended Stockton University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology/Chemistry. Mark also holds a certification as an EMT-B, but the institution and date of obtaining this certification are unavailable.
