Chris Merkel began their work experience in 1995 at Travelers, where they served as an IT Manager until 2000. In 2000, they joined Sapiens as the Chief Architect and VP R&D for Insurance CoreSuite, a role they still hold.
Chris Merkel attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mathematics and Computer Science.
