Diego Jimenez Valcarce

Diego Jimenez Valcarce has a diverse work experience in the trading industry. Diego is currently a Country Manager at Sapient Industries since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Cliveden Trading AG from 2017 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Copper Trader, Junior Trader, and Commercial Assistant. In these roles, they supported trading teams, performed PnL production and reporting, and actively participated in business trips and client visits. Before joining Cliveden Trading AG, Diego worked at Transamine Trading S.A. from 2014 to 2017 as an Operations Analyst, where they managed day-to-day operations activities for the Lead & Zinc department and supported trading desks with deal execution and pricing requests. Diego also had an earlier role as an Operations Intern at Transamine Trading S.A. where they gained experience in contract administration, risk management, and LME hedging.

Diego Jimenez Valcarce pursued their education from 2010 to 2014, beginning with Boston University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics. Simultaneously during this period, they also attended Universidad CEU San Pablo, where they successfully completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree, with a specialization in International Business. In 2012, Diego took part in an exchange program at City, University of London, further enhancing their academic experience in the field of International Economics.
