Tingang Lu

Tingang Lu has over 28 years of experience in the energy and lighting industry. Tingang began their career in 1993 as an Application Engineer and Performance Contracting Engineer at Honeywell Home and Building Controls. In 1999, they joined Siemens as a Senior Energy Engineer, National Operations Manager in China, and Director of Energy Projects in the Asia Pacific region. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Philips Lighting as an Architecture Manager/Regional Director, where they built lighting solutions in the office and industry segment for the APJ region. In 2021, they joined Sapient Industries as the Head of Energy Analytics.

Tingang Lu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University. Tingang also holds several certifications, including a Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) from The Institute of Engineers Singapore (obtained in July 2010), a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional from the Association of Energy Engineers (obtained in 2009), a LEED AP from USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter (obtained in 2005), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers (obtained in 1996), a Professional Engineer (PE) from the Pennsylvania Department of State (obtained in February 1993), and a Key Qualified Person (KQP) from Singapore ESCO (obtained in December 2009).
