Sonia Miller-van Oort

Sonia Miller-Van Oort is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As a Founding Member of Sapientia Law Group since March 2011 and Co-Owner of Woodlines since 2000, Sonia has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen. Leadership extends to serving as President of the Minnesota State Bar Association from July 2017 to January 2018 and involvement with the International Spanish Language Academy's Board of Directors from June 2007 to September 2014, where Sonia chaired the Strategic Planning Committee and contributed to significant school initiatives. Additionally, Sonia's prior experience includes being a Partner at Flynn, Gaskins & Bennett LLP and holding positions at other prestigious law firms. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Russian from the University of Notre Dame.
