Wayne Yang

Wayne Yang has extensive work experience in software engineering, development, and consulting roles. Wayne currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Sapphire Digital since March 2022, where they focus on user engagement and activation. Prior to this, they served as Manager of Software Engineering Core Platform at Sapphire Digital from June 2015 to March 2022, leading initiatives on patient reviews and the Smartshopper Mobile Application. Wayne collaborated with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to improve the VitalsChoice and Smartshopper platforms.

In addition, Wayne worked as a Senior Full-Stack Development Consultant at Open Throttle Consulting starting from November 2020. Wayne previously worked at Vitals as a Manager of Software Engineering Core Platform from February 2018 to February 2019, and as a Software Engineer from June 2015 to February 2018, involved in application and infrastructure development.

Before joining Vitals, they were the Lead Web Developer at Jorgensen and Company between August 2014 and May 2015, responsible for developing and maintaining the InstantE&O web application. Wayne also served as a Web Developer at Makemymeals.com from June 2013 to June 2014 and at Metronome3 in 2014.

Wayne's career began at Dev Bootcamp, where they completed a 9-week intensive apprenticeship in full-stack development from March 2013 to June 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant/Project Consultant at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes from June 2007 to March 2013, providing direction in client instruction, clinician training, and diagnostic evaluations.

Wayne Yang completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Rutgers University from 2004 to 2008. Wayne also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics during the same period from the same institution.
