Imran Patel

Imran Patel has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Imran has worked as an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Lead at Sapphire, where they led the Data Centre Migration Project and provided a secure and resilient infrastructure on the Sapphire Beyond(AWS) Platform. Prior to that, they served as an Infrastructure and Network Consultant at Sapphire Systems, where they handled various responsibilities including infrastructure configuration, security management, project leadership, compliance, troubleshooting, customer onboarding, and documentation.

Before joining Sapphire, Imran worked as a Systems Engineer at C-Ways Ltd, providing systems and infrastructure support to clients in the North-West region. Imran also worked as an ICT Technical Officer at The Regenda Group, where they managed and supported Windows servers, Citrix XenApp/VDI, and Cisco data and voice infrastructure.

Imran's previous experience includes roles as an ICT Systems and Network Admin at Acorn Care and Education, VOIP Field Operations Engineer at Orange Business Services, Network Support Engineer at Manchester Airport, IT Support at North Trafford College, and Network Administrator at HDFC Bank.

Throughout their career, Imran has demonstrated expertise in network management, infrastructure support, security implementation, and server administration.

Imran Patel obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computers from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS in November 2021, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in September 2002.
