Ishan Gill

Ishan Gill is an experienced investor currently working at Sapphire Ventures since August 2025. Prior to this role, Ishan served as an Operator in Residence at Primary Venture Partners, where incubation of a data company in stealth occurred with seed funding between January 2025 and June 2025. In 2024, Ishan contributed to building Fanatics Sportsbook within the Strategic Finance & BizOps team. Previous experience includes working as a Private Equity Investor at Francisco Partners from 2022 to 2024, focusing on technology buyouts and growth equity, as well as involvement with select investments such as GreenSlate, bswift, and Agreement Express. Ishan's career also includes a brief stint in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in 2021, specializing in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT). Educational credentials include a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
