Teresa Abraham

VP, Scientific and Technical Affairs at Sapphiros

Teresa Abraham has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Teresa began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine. In 2011, they became an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Analyst at Gryphon Scientific. Teresa then joined Strategic Marketing Innovations, Inc. (SMI) as a Vice President for Life Sciences and Associate. In 2018, they began working at Visby Medical as a Vice President, Scientific and Technical Partnerships and Director, Scientific and Technical Partnerships. Currently, they are the VP, Scientific and Technical Affairs at Sapphiros.

Teresa Abraham has an educational background that spans from 1989 to 2008. Teresa attended Lawrence School, Lovedale from 1989 to 1997, where they completed their high school education. Teresa then attended College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a B.A. in both Chemistry and Biology. Finally, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
