Mariët S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mariët started their career as a Sales and Marketing Executive at Finnlines Plc, where they handled customer inquiries, prepared freight quotations, and generated sales reports. Mariët then moved on to Maersk Line, where they worked as an Account Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of direct shippers and driving new business development. Mariët also served as a Global Key Account Coordinator, representing Maersk in sales visits and negotiations.

Mariët then transitioned to a role as an Office Manager at lululemon athletica, where they were a key leader in a team. Subsequently, they joined Australian Sailing as an Office Manager, where they coordinated office administration, updated business policies, and procedures, and ensured organizational effectiveness.

Mariët later worked as a Projects Coordinator at Specialist Clinics of Australia, where they managed research and development projects, developed a data collection tool, and prepared tax credit applications. Their most recent role was as a People Operations Manager at Objectiv, a deep-tech SaaS startup, where they provided support to the executive founders in various areas such as facility management, employee engagement, HR administration, and event planning.

Currently, Mariët works as an Office Manager at Sapreme Technologies BV, a Dutch biotech company focused on developing a platform technology for delivering macromolecule therapeutics.

Mariët S. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Technology at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2002. Mariët then pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Management (Operations & Logistics) at the University of Plymouth from 2003 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mariët also obtained several certifications including "Budgets and Forecasts for Organisations" from The University of Sydney, Centre for Continuing Education in April 2015, a "Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB)" from MAERSK LINE UK LIMITED in 2008, and an "Applied First Aid" certification from Red Cross College in May 2013.
