Chris Thomson

Chris Thomson is a seasoned executive in the food and dairy sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Cranstons Butcher + Maker since June 2024. Previously, Chris held the position of SVP, Managing Director for Wensleydale at Saputo Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing growth and integration of acquired businesses, along with complete accountability for revenue and a workforce of 250 employees. Chris also contributed to the executive committee as CPO and Group Procurement Director for Saputo Dairy UK, focusing on strategy and sourcing management. Prior roles include CPO at Dairy Crest, Executive Consultant at State of Flux, and key procurement positions at SC Johnson and H.J. Heinz Company. Chris holds a BSc Hons in Management (Business Administration) from The University of Manchester.
