Håvard Smørdal

Håvard Smørdal has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Håvard began their career in 2005 as a Project Engineer at Dolphin Drilling, where they worked for six months. Håvard then went on to become an Assistant Rig Manager and later Rig Manager at the same company. After that, they were promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2012 and held this position until 2019. In 2014, they became the Vice President of Operations once again, this time at Dolphin Drilling.

In 2019, they joined SAR AS, where they first served as the Chief Operating Officer for four years before transitioning to their current role as a Special Advisor.

Håvard Smørdal attended the University of Stavanger from 2000 to 2005, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Technology with a focus on Drilling.
