Tiyada Baldwin-Barnes has a strong background in Human Resources, with a focus on people and culture. Tiyada currently holds the position of VP of People & Culture at Saras Micro Devices since 2023. Prior to this, they were the VP of People & Culture at Jiko from 2021 to 2023, where they built the HR organization from the ground up and provided guidance in various HR functions. Tiyada also had a significant role at Prosper Marketplace from 2016 to 2021, starting as an HR Business Partner and eventually becoming the Director of Human Resources. During their time at Prosper Marketplace, they introduced best practices and policies that led to an increase in employee engagement. Additionally, Tiyada worked as an Ambassador for Designers and Buyers at Phoenix Fashion Week from 2014 to 2017 and as a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner at MUFG in the Americas from 2015 to 2016.

Tiyada then pursued further education and received their Master of Legal Studies degree in Human Resource and Employment Law from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University between 2017 and 2019. In February 2018, they obtained their SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.
