Richard Jocelyn

Richard Jocelyn has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Richard is currently the Head of Compliance & MLRO at Sarasin & Partners LLP. Prior to this role, they founded Meat London Ltd in 2011, where they served as a Founder & Non-Executive Director. In 2013, they joined Aviva Investors and held various roles including Global Head of Compliance Operations, Head of Compliance Monitoring, and Investment Compliance Manager. Before that, they worked at Barclays Bank as the Operations Manager for Barclays Corporate Development. Richard also had a brief stint at HSBC as a Consultant Programme Manager. Richard worked at BNP Paribas Securities Services as a Project Consultant and at Aberdeen Asset Management as the Director of Aberdeen Asset Management Life & Pensions Ltd. Their early career includes roles at Deutsche Asset Management as the Chief Operating Officer and Business Analyst and at Tatham Wilkes & Company as an Attorney and Trainee Attorney.

Richard Jocelyn completed their BA LLB in Law at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1985 to 1989. Richard further obtained an MBA in Business from the University of Cape Town in 1997.
