Alex Lane

Alex Lane currently serves as the Director of Artistic Planning at Sarasota Orchestra, a position held since September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Artistic Operations at Brevard Music Center from August 2021 to August 2025 and as an Adjunct Professor of Horn at Brevard College between January 2021 and May 2025. Additionally, Alex held the role of Acting Assistant Principal/Utility French Horn with The Florida Orchestra from August 2019 to June 2020. Educational qualifications include an Artist Diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music (2016-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music (2012-2016).
