Demetri Konstantopoulos

Demetri Konstantopoulos has been a dedicated member of the Sarasota Police Department since May 1998, holding various leadership roles including Police Officer, Captain of Support Services Division, and Captain of Patrol Division. As Support Services Commander, responsibilities have included overseeing Information Technology, Body Worn Cameras, K9 operations, and Special Response Teams. Previous roles also encompassed Commander of Internal Affairs, managing critical investigations and policies. Prior to Sarasota, Demetri served as a Task Force Officer with the FBI and as a Deputy Sheriff with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Public Safety from Liberty University and completion of the FBI National Academy. Demetri additionally holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Homeland Security and a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education.
