Christopher Then

Christopher Then currently serves as the General Manager of Tax & Treasury at Sarawak Energy Berhad since August 2020. Previously, Christopher held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Rennell Mining Company Ltd from November 2018 to August 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing operations, managing financial resources, and handling stakeholder relations. A former Group Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of MENA Operations at Gryphon Energy Group, Christopher has also held various leadership roles at Perdana Petroleum Berhad from 2000 to 2015, contributing to strategic development, procurement, and internal audit functions. With certifications as a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor, Christopher possesses a strong foundation in finance, governance, and risk management.
