Nick Wright

Nick Wright is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Sarawak Energy Berhad since June 2010. In this role, Nick leads teams in the origination, negotiation, and management of significant power purchase agreements, as well as overseeing large-scale hydropower renewable energy projects. Previously, Nick held positions including Vice President of Strategic Communications and CSR and Head of the CEO Office, where Nick played a key role in negotiating international power agreements and a landmark gas supply agreement with PETRONAS. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Adviser to the Minister for Energy and Resources for the Government of Tasmania, providing policy and strategic advice on energy and infrastructure. Nick holds an MBA from the University of New England and degrees in Political Science and Laws from the University of Tasmania.
