Allan Tiong

Allan Tiong is an experienced project contract and commercial manager currently working at Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd since June 2023, focusing on the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS). Previously, Tiong served as assistant costing manager at Opus Consultants from June 2019 to June 2023, contributing to the Sarawak Coastal Road and Second Trunk Road project, which included the RM11 billion Bintulu-Jepak cable stayed bridge. Tiong has extensive experience as a senior quantity surveyor at SHIN YANG GROUP from September 2006 to May 2019, working on various projects including Boulevard Shopping Mall and housing developments. Earlier career roles include quantity surveyor and site supervisor at Inspire Link Developer and Builders from October 2004 to August 2006. Tiong holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Sheffield Hallam University and has completed an Advanced Diploma and a Diploma in Building Construction Technology from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.
