Principal Ai/ml Scientist at Sarcos Robotics

Valentino Crespi has a wide range of work experience in the field of AI and machine learning. Valentino is currently a Principal AI/ML Scientist at Sarcos Robotics since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Computer Scientist at USC Viterbi School of Engineering from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at BAE Systems, including Senior Principal Research Engineer II from 2017 to 2019 and Principal Research Engineer from 2012 to 2017. Valentino also served as an Associate Professor at California State University, Los Angeles from 2009 to 2013 and as an Assistant Professor from 2003 to 2009. Valentino gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Dartmouth College from 2000 to 2003 and as an Assistant Professor at EMU from 1998 to 2000. Valentino started their career as a Visiting Scholar at Istituto di Matematica Computazionale from 1996 to 1996 and at ICSI from 1995 to 1995.

Valentino Crespi completed their Diploma of "Perito Industriale Tecnico" in Informatica at I.T.I.S. "Luigi Galvani", Milano, Italy from 1982 to 1987. Valentino then pursued a Laurea Degree in Computer Science at Università degli Studi di Milano from 1987 to 1992. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano e Torino from 1992 to 1997.
