Managing Director Projects APAC & Middle East at Sarens

Philippe Verdeure has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Philippe started their career as a Trainee at GSK in 2004. Philippe then worked as an Associate at DVEA sprl from August 2007 to September 2008. Philippe then joined AKKA-MATIS Benelux as a Business Manager, where they played a key role in developing and managing a new Business Unit focused on Energy from September 2008 to January 2010. Following this, they joined Sarens as a Key Account Manager, responsible for business development and sales support in heavy lifting and handling projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Philippe also managed agents in Italy and Egypt for prospecting, reporting, and new partnership negotiations from January 2010 to May 2011. In May 2011, Philippe transitioned to the role of Sales Manager Projects Middle East at Sarens. In this position, they focused on sales and business development in the Middle East market until May 2016. From May 2016 to January 2019, they served as the Sales Manager Projects APAC & Middle East at Sarens, leading a sales team of 10 people and handling large heavy lifting and heavy haulage projects in the Middle East, South East Asia, and Australia. Currently, Philippe is the Managing Director Projects APAC & Middle East at Sarens, taking charge in January 2019.

Philippe Verdeure attended the University of Liège from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering - Mechatronics. From 2005 to 2007, they also studied at Politecnico di Milano, obtaining an additional MSc. degree in Impianti e Produzione - Plant Management. In 2014, they attended INSEAD for the Negotiation Dynamics Programme. It is not specified when they attended Athenee Royal Namur or the field of study of their degree there.
