Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane, CPSM has over 11 years of work experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Christopher is currently the Senior Director of Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing at Sarepta Therapeutics, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director and Associate Director in the same department at Sarepta Therapeutics.

Before joining Sarepta Therapeutics, Christopher worked at Bioverativ, a Sanofi company, where they held the position of Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies across various business functions. Christopher also served as the Procurement Lead for the Research & Development and Medical business units.

Prior to their time at Bioverativ, Christopher worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as a Global Category Sourcing Manager and as a Senior Procurement Contracts Analyst. Before that, they held positions at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the US Federal Government, gaining experience in procurement and contracting.

Christopher's early career experience includes working as a Procurement Administrator at Iron Mountain.

Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated expertise in global procurement, strategic sourcing, and developing sourcing strategies. Christopher holds the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification.

Christopher Kane, CPSM has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Salve Regina University, obtained in 2007. Christopher also holds a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, completed between 2013 and 2015. In addition, Christopher has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Supply Chain Management from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, earned between 2015 and 2019. Christopher is also a certified professional in supply management (CPSM), certified by the Institute for Supply Management in 2015.
