David Newman

David Newman has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David started their career as a Shift Supervisor at Abbott Bioresearch Center in November 2002 and then became a Manufacturing Supervisor in 2004. In 2008, they joined Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Team Lead, Process Support and worked there until 2016. After that, they joined Shire as a Senior Manufacturing Investigation Specialist and worked there until April 2022. Currently, they are the Lead Investigator at Sarepta Therapeutics, starting from April 2022.

David Newman earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Boosting Your Confidence, Public Speaking, and Performance" from LinkedIn (in 2023) and "Making a Cell Therapy: Principles and Practice of Manufacturing" from edX (in 2021).
