Gediminas Pliura

Gediminas Pliura, PharmD, currently serves as Director of Contracts & Pricing and previously held the role of Director of US Payer Marketing at Sarepta Therapeutics, where responsibilities included developing comprehensive Payer Marketing strategies for the launch of Elevidys, a groundbreaking Gene Therapy. Prior experience includes Associate Director positions at bluebird bio, where Gediminas led gene therapy marketing for sickle cell disease, and at Sanofi Genzyme, focusing on Pompe marketing and sales in rare diseases. Additional roles include market research at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., and leadership in global R&D strategy and clinical trials at other prominent organizations. Gediminas holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeastern University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Rutgers University.
