James Richardson

Vice President, Head Of Clinical Development at Sarepta Therapeutics

James Richardson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. James is currently working at Sarepta Therapeutics as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Development since August 2023. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Sarepta Therapeutics, including Executive Director of Global Program Team Lead and Team Lead of Global Medical Affairs.

James began their career in the healthcare industry as a Cardiology Specialist Trainee at the NHS from October 2013 to March 2014. James also worked as a Cardiology Registrar (LAT) at The Heart Hospital from November 2012 to May 2013.

James Richardson completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy, Psychology, and Physiology from the University of Oxford in 1999-2002. James then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree between 2004 and 2008. In 2011, they became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians after studying at the Royal College of Physicians in London. In 2015, they obtained a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine from The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
